You are a young scientist and would like to attend the 19th ECCMID in Helsinki?
Purpose
Up to 100 young scientists, who wish to attend the 19th ECCMID in Helsinki, will be supported with a travel grant and/or free registration.
Funding
A travel grant will include full registration to the Congress and a travel allowance amounting to EUR 500 (paid in cash onsite against presentation of an identity card or passport).
Eligibility criteria
Travel grants and free registrations are both conditional upon the acceptance of an abstract. Applicants must be the presenting author of an abstract submitted for the 19th ECCMID and be born on or after 1 January 1969.
Application procedure
Please submit your abstract first.
The deadline for abstract submission is 7 January 2009.
For the application, you will need
- the title of your abstract and
- the abstract number you received on successfully submitting it.
Then, please submit your application online.
The deadline for submission for an ECCMID Travel Grant is 12 January 2009.
The ECCMID Organizing Committee will select the grantees. Applicants will be notified of the decision by 25 February 2009. Please refrain from inquiring on the status of your application before this date.
