Attendance grants for Postgraduate Education Courses
support young European scientists who wish to attend an educational and/or scientific event organised or endorsed by ESCMID and provide for free tuition and/or travel.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be younger than 40 years of age at the beginning of the course or workshop and trainee in clinical microbiology and/or infectious diseases. If there are more applicants than available grants, preference will be given to ESCMID members.
Application procedure
Interested young scientists must complete the course application form and send it together with the application for an ESCMID grant to the course secretariat.
Applications for an ESCMID grant must include:
- a short application letter
- CV including a list of publications
Course registrations and grant applications should be sent to the course secretariat at least ten weeks before the course date.
Applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application by the course secretariat. Please refrain from inquiring on the status of your application with ESCMID.
