Interactive Sessions

Pro/Contra Sessions

Two or more participants will present the arguments for or against a chosen topic. These sessions are moderated by experts.

Topics:

  • Multidrug-resistant bacteria: search and destroy or loose surveillance. Facilitated by Tibor Pal
     
Student Case Presentations

Participants are requested to submit a case or problem as part of the application for attending the Summer School. It should come from the professional experience of the applicant, be of practical relevance and have some educational value. The description should not exceed 2'500 characters. All participants will be asked to present and discuss their cases / problems either in the plenary session or in a small tutorial group. The presentation may last up to ten minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion. In one of the aftrnoon's small group tutorials, the presentations of the morning sessions will be discussed with an expert. Don't miss this opportunity to train your presentation skills in a friendly group, for most of whom English will not be their first language. A guidance document is available to help you prepare your case presentation.

The audience will split into small groups of 12-15 people for highly interactive work moderated by an experienced facilitator.
