Organized by the ESCMID Study Group for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance (ESGARS) and the Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Specialty Society of Turkey (EKMUD).

 

Course Objectives
  • Raise awareness of the magnitude of antimicrobial resistance
  • Increase knowledge about extended-spectrum beta-lactamases
  • Increase knowledge about interpretive reading of antimicrobial susceptibility tests
  • Demonstrate through case discussions how to choose the right treatment for serious infections
