	ESCMID vote February 2010 In order to become more efficient and flexible, ESCMID wants to change its legal domicile from Germany to Switzerland. All ESCMID members are asked to participate in the current vote. Please proceed to the voting page and log in with your regular credentials.

	Full programme online for ECCMID 2010 This year the programme includes over 200 hours of oral communications as keynotes, oral sessions, symposia, meet-the-expert sessions, educational workshops, clinical grand rounds and more. See the website for more details.

	Register before 4 March for ECCMID 2010 and save After this date, fees will increase. Don't miss the latest information in the infection fields and the chance to network with other professionals!

	Assembly of Members at the ECCMID 2010 Sunday, 11 April 2010 from 18.15-19.30 in Vienna. The agenda will be sent to all members and includes discussion of moving ESCMID's domicile from Germany to Switzerland and presentation of awardees.

	26 publications in first year of TROCAR - Translational Research on Combating Antimicrobial Resistance The project focused on antibiotic resistance as well as epidemiological traits of the bacterial species included in the project. Most of the research is related to the genetics, biochemistry and epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance.

	Final programme available online for Third International Day for Fighting Infection Held once again on St. George's Day, 23 April 2010, this symposium will cover milestones in the history of infections. It will take place in Florence, Italy.
