3rd International Day for Fighting Infection on 23 April 2010

Held once again on St. George's Day, this one-day symposium on milestones in the history of infections will take place in Florence, Italy and will trace the evolution over the centuries of infection control in hospitals and of ad-hoc hospitals for infectious patients.

Four member-only attendance grants for ESCMID/SHEA Hospital Epidemiology Course in Port Douglas, Australia

The successful annual course will be held on 21 - 25 June 2010 in collaboration with the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases.
Until 27 November 2009, ESCMID members have the unique opportunity to apply for one of four attendance grants of EUR 2'500, partly covering the registration fee.
