Course Objectives
Provide updated information in an interdisciplinary setting on
- Epidemiology and burden of infectious diseases in pregnancy and in newborns
- Pathogenesis of foetal and neonatal damages
- Pre- and postnatal counselling
- Setting collaborative diagnostic and clinical pathways for management of infections in pregnant women and newborns
- Prevention and therapy of vertical transmitted infections.
The course will be a mix of lectures by expert scientists in the field and interactive group discussions.
