Course Objectives
- Describe public health aspects of influenza epidemics and pandemics
- Emphasize the importance of influenza infections and address problems related to: Diagnosis of infections with current subtypes, detection of emerging subtypes and misuse of antivirals and antibiotics
- Increase awareness
- Address the economical burden caused by influenza viruses
