Course Objectives
Participants attending this course will learn about the clinical presentation, diagnosis and therapy of main infections occurring after solid organ transplantation. Infections of interest include donor-derived infections, multi-resistant bacterial infections, herpes virus infections and yeast and mold infections. Prevention of infection after transplantation will be particularly addressed during the course. The programme will consist of a 2-day course with formal lectures illustrated with clinical cases and meet-the-experts meetings.
