May 2012

Dear Colleague,
The 22nd ECCMID is surely our most successful  achievement ever as over 10,000 participants attended the congress in London on 31 March 3 April 2012 and we hope to better this next year in Berlin on 27 – 30 April 2013. The presidential transition was announced during the Opening Ceremony at ECCMID. The Manual of Microbiology confirmed its successful outcome as hundreds copies were quickly sold at the ESCMID stand during the congress. For those unable to grab a copy during ECCMID in London, we are now in the process of confirming with the Publisher how copies of the Manual can be bought online.
