Annual International Conference on Diseases in Nature Communicable to Man

INCDNCM announced that the speakers for the August 2010 conference are:  Alan J. Parkinson, Deputy Director of the Arctic Investigations Program of the Centers for Disease Control will speak on "Climate Change and Infectious Diseases in the North", Harvey Artsob, Director (retired) of the Zoonotic Diseases and Special Pathogens National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnepeg Manitoba will speak on Studying zoonotic diseases: past and present approaches, and Tom Schwan, Chief, Laboratory of Zoonotic Pathogens, Chief Medical Entomology Section, NIAID Medical Entomology Section will speak on Biological Adaptations for the Acquisition and Transmission of Tick-borne Spirochetes.
